The idea for DollarDuel all started back in 2002. A few friends were sitting around a kitchen table playing cards when Matt said “I wish there was a website that showed you how to be successful.” Just like that, an idea was born.

We all want to become successful, but not all of us know how to get started down that path. Sometimes all you need is a little bit of motivation and a handful of advice. By now, you probably know the Internet is filled with answers and advice pertaining to the topics that can help you earn some money – the problem is that not all of the answers are easy to find. Sometimes, it’s nearly impossible to find help with what you need.

This is where DollarDuel comes in. Whenever we (this includes you now) find something useful pertaining to the business industry or saving you money, it gets posted to the site for everyone to use freely. We understood back then that if we didn’t help each other, none of us would ever be successful. This theory of ours has now expanded from just 4 friends to over 5 million people.

As a rule of thumb, we ask ourselves the question “Would this interest someone else?” If the answer is yes, we publish it. You should contribute using the same rule.
